Since its founding in 1973 by Governor Edmund G. “Pat” Brown, CCEEB has been California’s leading voice for strategies that develop a healthy environment and vibrant economy. CCEEB relies on the practice of dialogue and consensus building among its members and other stakeholders to develop solutions that are informed by multiple perspectives.
CCEEB is organized around issue-specific projects at the state and regional levels. Currently, CCEEB manages three statewide projects, two regional air projects, and three special projects. These projects track dozens of regulatory proceedings and hundreds of legislative bills each year. Members receive timely updates, expert analysis, and hear from a wide range of industry, labor, and public perspectives at our meetings.
Our team of policy experts and advocates takes CCEEB’s member-developed messages to state lawmakers, agency decision makers, and other stakeholders to help shape the environmental and economic future of California.
